The Wingfeather Saga Animated Series is looking for a full-time Assistant Editor. Role reports to the Line Producer and works in partnership with Animatic Editor, Post Editor, Production Coordinator and other department Leads.

Main Responsibilities

- Assemble episodes making sure all sequences are compiled accurately

- Compile the episodes radio play with scratch dialogue for story department

- Replace scratch dialogue with production dialogue

- Create outputs of pitch animatic and locked animatic for review

- Responsible for timely deliverables to necessary departments

- Work with Animatic Editor, Director and others to deliver materials for revisions based on review notes

- Create edit change list for any trims that would affect layout or animation

- Proactively support Animatic and Post Editors, Coordinators, and others as needs arise

Basic Qualifications

- 1-2+ years editing experience in Final Cut Pro

- Strong file management, organization and communication skills

- Working knowledge of Frame IO, Box, Asana

- Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications

- 3-5 years of animation editorial experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Film preferred or equivalent experience

- Tennessee resident. Role is based in-office, in Franklin, TN
