Posted on: Thursday - Oct 31, 2024

On behalf of the WCCAC, West Light Studios, and the Slick Lawson Foundation, as well as our dedicated board, sponsors, staff, and volunteers, we are thrilled to welcome you to the Tennessee International Indie Film Festival (TIIFF) 2024! This year’s festival promises to be an extraordinary gathering for filmmakers, audiences, and creators. It will feature more than 80 films, including Matthew Modine’s award winning “I Hope This Helps,” a documentary on the relationship of AI and humanity.  Also featured will be “The Day the Music Stopped,” a feature-length documentary that explores the ten-year battle of independent music venues and the artists they champion against developers and concert promoter Live Nation. “Surviving Pulse: Life after a Mass Shooting” an award-winning documentary will be featured, where survivors of the mass shooting share their stories for the first time.

From November 14th to 17th, WestLight Studios, transforms into a vibrant hub where creativity and collaboration flourish. TIIFF 2024 is an exceptional opportunity for industry influencers and budding artists to connect, share their passion, and explore the latest trends in filmmaking. Our festival would not be possible without the unwavering support of our local community, and we are excited to celebrate the unique spirit of Franklin, where stars collide with a friendly crowd.

Join us for a diverse lineup of films, engaging panel discussions, and enriching networking opportunities. Every film block will feature insightful talkbacks, providing valuable perspectives and lessons that could shape your filmmaking journey. Whether you're an established filmmaker or a newcomer to the industry, TIIFF is the perfect place to learn and grow.

In addition to captivating films, TIIFF 2024 will feature spectacular musical performances by talented artists, including Rachel Colette, Gwen Levy, Jamie Litt, Randi Driscoll Band, Bart Bryers, Eliana Grizzell, and Bryan Ruby.

Our esteemed panelists include industry veterans Peter Kurland, Barbara Hall, Valentina Signorelli, and Michael Kenney, who will share their expertise and insights during the film festival.

We invite everyone to come for the films, stay for the panels, and engage with like-minded arts enthusiasts. TIIFF 2024 is not just a film festival; it’s a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and community.
