The ESPN+ show “Bettor Days” is a first for the sports streaming service, taking viewers into the world of sports entertainment. The show, hosted by Mike Greenberg, is described by ESPN as a character-driven reenactment show bringing to life the true stories of unforgettable sports gambling adventures.”

The series, now in its second season, combines documentary-style interviews with real people who have insane betting stories, combined with comedic and dramatic reenactments bringing the stories to life as they are told.

And all of this came straight from Nashville.

Nashville-based Evolve Studios worked with ESPN to co-produce the “Bettor Days” series, which is just the latest item in the studio’s impressive portfolio that includes work with companies such as National Geographic, Disney, Netflix, Discovery, HBO, Wunderman Thompson and Wieden+Kennedy.

Joel Edwards, president and executive producer at Evolve Studios, said it has taken a decade of hard work one job at a time to earn the trust of a network the size of ESPN.

“We have been able to build this company one project at a time,” he said. “With each job, you earn a little bit more trust. We started in production services, live action and post, but that has turned into being a part of the entire process."
