Harassment Prevention Courses For TN Film Professionals

 The Nashville Filmmakers Guild, Tennessee Entertainment Commission, Memphis & Shelby County Film & Television Commission, and IATSE Local 492 are uniting to sponsor online Harassment Prevention courses for Tennessee film professionals. 


The training is available through Contract Services, an established provider of contractual, legal and regulatory training in the motion picture and television industry.

This education is offered to increase the level of safety, lawfulness, and professionalism on Tennessee sets. All associated costs will be covered by the aforementioned organizations for the advancement of our state's collective film community.

To register, please complete the brief questionnaire below. After signing up, you will shortly receive an authentication link from Contract Services with instructions to access the training. The courses are taken at your own pace entirely online. You do not have to complete the course all at once.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS - Choose only ONE course

HARASSMENT PREVENTION 1 (HP1): This course will assist individuals to identify behaviors that create or contribute to unlawful harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. It also offers information on how to respond to incidents of harassment in the workplace. The course takes an average of one hour to complete.

HARASSMENT PREVENTION 2 (HP2): This course contains all training from HP1, plus information geared specifically toward department heads, keys, and those with supervisory responsibilities. Completing HP2 also applies credit for HP1. This course will assist individuals to identify behaviors that create or contribute to unlawful harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. It also offers information on how to assist in preventing and responding to incidents of harassment in the workplace. The course takes an average of two hours to complete.
