UPDATE:  Last week Netflix released news revealing a $100 million relief fund  that had been created to help members of the creative community who have been left unemployed and without a way to earn an income during the coronavirus crisis.   

Most of the funds have been earmarked for crew and some cast that had been working on Netflix productions prior to the production shut down.  If any Tennessee crew members  were working on a Netflix productions when the pause went into effect, then the  production team will be reaching out.

 The additional funds, which were reported to be approximately $15 million, have been donated to non-profits, that provide emergency relief to workers in the broader film and TV industry.  In the U.S.,  Netflix  will be donating to the SAG-AFTRA Covid-19 Disaster Fund, the Motion Picture and Television Fund, and the Actors Fund Emergency Assistance (also open to non-actors).  Industry professionals can apply for assistance with these non-profits directly.
