The Nashville Filmmakers Guild presents this full-day workshop lead by 2 of Tennessee’s most accomplished grips Robert Duke & Mike Rodia will include 2 hands-on sessions about car rigging and dolly gripping.

Participants will divide into two groups for a morning and afternoon session, allowing everyone to experience both topics. Each session will include 4 parts: a fundamentals overview, rigging a quicker lightweight setup, hands-on practice, & building a heavier and more advanced setup. In addition to learning grip essentials, each setup will feature a cinema camera, lighting, talent, and reference monitors to show how the process impacts the final image.
