Ted Heinig

Ted Heinig has over three decades of experience in the live music industry. Based in Knoxville, TN, he currently serves in a dual role within Live Nation as Vice President of Bookings Southeast Region, and as Festival Executive for C3 Presents. He also oversees all theaters in the Southeast as Line of Business Leader for Live Nation.

Ted was the first employee hired in 1991 by Knoxville, TN based AC Entertainment. He was promoted to President of AC Entertainment when the company was acquired by Live Nation in 2020. During his early years at AC, he was the Exclusive Promoter, then Talent Buyer, for the Tennessee Theatre (2005), Project Lead for the Tivoli Theatre Foundation including Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium, Tivoli Theatre and Walker Theatre (2015), Project Lead for ETSU’s Martin Center (2022), and Graceland’s Sound Stage (2021). Ted is currently Project Lead for the new Satellite Music Hall in Memphis, TN, which is opening Fall 2026.

He is a member of the Broadway League and is the Presenter of the following Broadway Seasons; Tennessee Theatre (since 2008), Tivoli Theatre (since 2016), and Martin Center (since 2023).

Some of his recent career highlights include presenting Wicked at the Tennessee Theatre and Justin Timberlake’s free concert at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN in January 2024. He also promoted Morgan Wallen’s two Neyland Stadium concerts in September 2024 and presented Hamilton at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium in April 2025.

Over the past several years, Heinig has focused on creating and building festival brands in the Southeast. He oversees or is involved in Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival (Manchester, TN), Moon River Music Festival (Chattanooga TN), Railbird Music Festival (Lexington, KY), High Water Music Festival (N. Charleston SC), and South Star Music Festival (Huntsville AL).
