My major is Journalism and Electronic Media with an minor in Arabic. I plan to embark off to study at the University of Tennessee's Law school. I already have an associates degree in Communications from Pellissippi State Community College. I am a Diversity Student Leader Society executive member, which is a CCI sponsored organization held by Dean Wirth and his wife Alice Wirth. I am also serving on the board for the Diversity and Inclusion Week at UT. I take part in the TEDXUTK family holding discussions on mental health and its correlation into college student's lives. I have also written, directed, filmed, and edited a documentary series following the homeless community in East TN. My film has gained over 10,000 viewers, causing much more constructive conversations about this community amongst our community.
Personal: I transitioned my Instagram from personal page to business platform in 2014. I have been featured in the Knoxville News Sentinel and WBIR for my blogging and social branding skills in 2016. I have won several awards and scored high for my writing skills. Including the ACT, DARE Awareness annual essay, and more. Currently working on my very own memoir with a local publishing company, tackling many topics such as love, friendship, career, school, and any other expeditions young teenage girls experience.
