Barrett J. Leigh (Klausman) is a producer, director, creative director, tech enthusiast, published writer, and ancient literature zealot.
In 2015 Barrett moved from Los Angeles, CA to what he believes is the center of the universe Nashville, TN. His move was inspired by the desire to start something new as well as finding a better quality of life. Over the past 20 years he has worked for Universal Studios, Disney and Sony Studios managing projects like Pirates of the Caribbean, Knocked Up, Year One, Bridesmaids, This is Forty, and several of the Fast and Furious films. While those films are impressive in and of themselves his real excitement comes from working with directors and producers like Gore Verbinski, Judd Apatow, Jerry Bruckheimer, Justin Lin and Paul Feig. In 2007 Barrett was called on to engineer creative direct marketing pushes for clients like Sony, Universal, Moet, Nike, Panasonic and more. His commercial marketing efforts for Alamo Draft-house garnered national attention for Melissa’s McCarthy’s “Don’t talk” campaign. In the short few years he has been in Nashville he has brought in over $11m in film and marketing project spends, co-founded the group M.E.T.A. and produced several award winning projects with local crew like the short film Three Fingers. In 2016 he was asked to step in as Creative Director and CTO for the worlds first OTT/Digital platform for all things Dance called Dance Network.
